Girugamesh (ギルガメッシュ/Girugämesh) was created in 2003 in the suburbs of Tokyo. However, 2004 should be considered as the true beginning, because it was in that year the band formed its present line up: 左迅 (Satoshi, vocals, ex-Venom), 弐 (Nii, guitar), 愁 (Shuu, bass. before Girugamesh he was a roadie for Kagerou) and Яyo (drums).
Their first consert was in Motoyawata ROUTE14 24.03.2004. Atthis time they released their first demo: [kosaki uta] ~kaijou kata enban~.
Band had many gigs and in august they gave in free records: jelatoa and mikongyakua. In same month they released their first max single: [kaisen sengen] [kosaki uta][kaisen sengen] ~kikaku kata enban~.
In end of 2004 they released their second max single: [kuukyo no utsuwa] ~kyosaku kata enban~
In February they get on tour which name was: 2005 fuyu no yukidoke tourou.
In their last gig february 28 HenzeL was their warmer band in Meguro rock may canil.
In February they released their first Live DVD. Girugamesh performed in KINDLING VOL.1 wand there was also Phantasmagoria and Vidoll.
15.04.2005 they performed consert where their warmer was Marusa. Consert named Kaisen was in Takadanobaba AREA and it was memory day of double cd Senyuu kyoutou utan 5 days after. In next month they released their first mini-album: goku -shohan kata enban-.
In 2006 they released their first album named: 13's reborn
In 2007 they released their mini album: Reason of crying
In end of 2007 they will release their second album: Girugamesh
Girugamesh combines many elements in their music like very low basses and guitars. Their sound is sinister and dark but still melodic. Satoshis voice is really unique with his demonic screaming and beautiful pure vocals and adding some rapcore singing.
