Lotr ve Hobbit isimli kitapta tek yuzuk u nehirde bulan arkadasindan zor kullanarak alan, sonrasinda lanetlenen eski hobbit yeni ne oldugu belirsiz yaratik. uzun zaman (500 yil kadar) bir magarada yuzukun verdigi kuvvet ve askla mutasyon gecirmis yaratik.
